Flowing bands move in directional harmony, representing sky, earth, land and water—the elements that define the Children of the Middle Waters, the Osage people. A multidisciplinary artist working in mixed media and traditional ribbon work, Roanhorse creates work that bridges generations while preserving and honoring Indigenous culture.
